My Experience of Learning English from Grade Four

As a student, learning English is an essential part of my school life. Since I entered grade four, I have been learning English from the textbook of Grade Four English published by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press.

This English textbook is divided into five units, which focus on topics such as “Daily Life”, “People”, “Hobbies”, “Nature” and “Society”. Each unit contains several topics, with corresponding words and sentences for us to study. Every unit also includes some stories, songs and conversations, which help us to better understand the language. Besides, there are also some exercises at the end of each unit to test our knowledge of the language.

In the past four years, I have been learning English from this textbook. With the help of the textbook, I have made great progress in English. I can now read simple books in English and have a basic understanding of English. I can also write simple compositions in English and speak some basic English sentences.

Learning English from this textbook is not only interesting, but also very helpful. It has enabled me to develop a good foundation for English and increase my confidence. I'm glad that I have made such progress in English. With the help of this textbook, I believe I can continue to make progress in English.
